Travel firms offer Tet tours for tourists
As the Tet (Lunar New Year) Festival is approaching, tourist companies are eagerly preparing to launch tours to serve not only local holidaymakers but also tens of thousands of foreign visitors.
HCMC to hold Lunar New Year Festival
The HCMC People's Committee has assigned local tour company Saigontourist Holding Company and other administrative agencies to organise the Tet Tan Mao (Lunar New Year of the Cat) Festival in the city's downtown.
Exhibition of VN artistic works held in France

Binh Thuan reschedules international yacht festival
The organizing committee of the first international sailing festival in Binh Thuan Province has rescheduled the event to January 15-18, 2011 citing possible bad weather as the key reason. The festival was originally scheduled to take place from December 8 - 11, 2010 said Le Thi Thanh Lien, deputy director of the province’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Japanese quartet fluent in traditional, western styles
A quartet led by Japanese artist Karin Nakagawa will perform a programme of original songs on traditional instruments at Ha Noi's Tuoi Tre (Youth) Theatre on December 8-9. Nakagawa plays a 25-stringed koto (Japanese harp), and has developed her performance style, a unique way of performing the rhythm with her feet.
